Windows 10: No connection between H&R Block software and server

There's also another one here where they downloaded other H&R Block software as that's what H&R Block said and it fixed that and that was Windows 10!:

Its almost entirely likely to be a problem with the application itself. However, that error is lacking info. You nor H&R Block can blame Windows based on that error info you provided.

In fact, you probably reach successfully many servers as you browse the internet and use other applications that connect to servers. So, its difficult to blame Windows here without something that specifically says it is on that side.

I updated to Windows 11 and now H&R Block software gets error cannot connect to server. I can file and I cannot update. Problem is with Windows 11 AND NOT H&R Block. I already verified with H&R Block. Everything was working fine for the past 7 years with Windows 10. I tried disabling firewall and antivirus. I still get error.

My disappointing problem continues. I did everything H&R Block suggested (more than once). I'm not on Verizon. My ISP does not have a firewall or other security software. All proxy settings are disabled on both the Win10 Pro PC and the Win8.1 PC. Both PC's are connected to the same router. I reset Windows Time to automatic in case that was causing the problem. The Date/Time are both set to automatic. I completely turned off all security software.

It seems to be either some setting in Win 10 Pro, or I guess it could be something corrupted in the tax software. Or, if the connection is somehow through the Edge browser, maybe there's a setting there that's blocking it. I don't actually know how the server connects to the software.

I've completely removed the software, rebooted the PC, then re-downloaded and installed it. I get the same: "System message: SSL error: bad server connection or incorrect PC date."

The Win10 Pro version is 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1387).
