Windows 10: No desktop, when I try to open explorer exe from task manager it says file not found.

Translation: explorer.exeFile not found.Check if the name of the file is correct and retry your attempt.

Deleting Files that say they are open in Windows Explorer

I suggest you to End Task the Windows Explorer.

• 
  Open task manager (CRTL+SHIFT+ESC)
  
• 
  Right-click on windows explorer.
  
• 
  End task (Note: don’t close Task manager).
  
• 
  Click on File > Run new task.
  
• 
  Type explorer.exe and press enter and check it helps.

file explorer and desktop icons wont open

We got reports/feedback that we are seeing some issues where the desktop icons is non-responsive. Please try the following steps and check if it resolves the file explorer and desktop icon issue:

• Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press CTRL+Shift+ESC.
  
• Click File > Run New Task.
• Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”
  
• Type PowerShell.
• Type the following in the PowerShell prompt:
  
  $manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest
  
• Close the PowerShell window.
• Reboot.

File Explorer Windows 10 - How do you stop it from opening at startup

That's not Windows 10. Mine opens that stupid window at the startup, and checking the startup folder, there is NO item there saying Files Explorer. That was no help at all.
