Windows 10: No foreground apps showing in task manager

So i updated to windows insider preview windows 11 build 22478.rs_prerelease.211008-1414 and no foreground/opened apps are showing in taskmanager under "Apps" section. I normally use RAM section to reorder apps running with the most ram usage so I can see what's hogging up my 8gb or memorythe other 8gb stopped working.I finally know now what everyone was talking about when they say windows 11 is trash. I still don't think it is, but it's getting to that state very fast.When I go ingame my mouse is literally lagging since this update and my framerates have dropped from ~120 to about ~70 and b

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

 

An app is suddenly running in background instead of foreground as it should

I run Windows 10.

When I tried to start an app it suddenly started to run in the background instead of foreground as it should, as seen in the Taskmanager.

It is an "external" app and is thus not listed in the Settings-privacy- background apps list

I want to force it back to run as foreground app again.

Is it possible?

First of all i love windows, <3

but

I want to ask where is task manager in windows phone :-(.

A task manager is very helpful and important app (as in windows pc).

If android and ios can provide an app similar to task manager then why not in windows phone.

I want to suggest you to build a task manager app which should show the following info

• list of all running apps
• Info about cpu usage and Ram usage (just like in windows pc)
• A button which says close all apps . Because i don't want to close all apps one by one
• Processes running in background.
• Network information (like in windows pc)

so Microsoft, are you planning to build an like this .
