Windows 10: No Handwriting in Language Experience pack

The goal is installing complete Japanese support on offline Windows 10 workstation.


Since langiage packages changed to appx format, I downloaded the appropriate "Local Experience Package" from:

STORE:

technically, using adguard sniffing service, but it does not change the matter


However, it appeared incomplete, since nothing changed. The keyboard input was available out of the box. But the handwriting should still be downloaded, which is impossible.


Is there a way to get the Handwriting part of the language pack Local Experience Pack in appx, or any other offline format?

Surface Pro 3: Handwriting | There are not handwriting options for this language.

Hi all,

I have a Surface Pro 3, and just started working with it. Now I try to install the handwriting packs, but I am not able to. I got 3 language packs: English (UK), English (USA) and Dutch (NL).

My region is set to United States

My language is set English (US)

My speech language is set to English US

However when i click on region & language and look in the English (US) language it says: There are not handwriting options for this language.

This is the same for the other 2 languages.

In the optional feautures list I do see the handwriting packs for all 3 languages.

Can someone explain me how I get this to work, or how to install the handwriting packs?

How to add the handwritting only from a language pack

Hello,

I'm French and I'm using a Microsoft Surface Go with a QWERTY US Keyboard. In order to write French with it, I changed it to US International Keyboard. Hence I don't need the AZERTY French one anymore. Moreovere, I often write in Japanese, so I installed
the Japanese keyboard. I often switch between US-INTL and JP keyboard with "WIndows + space" shortcut.

Unfortunatly, If I want to handwrite French I should install the whole language pack; with the keyboard, and then I have a 3rd useless keyboard in the list.

How can I install ONLY the handwritting from French pack, and remove the keyboard?
