Discus and support No Home Wifi Listed in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Would not be that hard to get the actual password.     1- I know nothing is 100% which you suggest that I'm obviously too stupid or naive to understand.
    2- I would certainly rather hide the SSID and put in a password rather than leaving everything wide open, or is that your plan of security?

    Nothing is wide open if thr SSID is not hidden. As I stated before. It gives a false sense of security.

    The radio is still going to be seen, because it is always broadcasting a signal.

    This is something that has been gone over for a very long time, that it is a feature that the vendors need to do away with.
