Hi,

My computer performed an automatic update called:

August 11, 2020-KB4569745 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 2004

After that, I had to re-enter the password for my WiFi.

My WiFi connected, but it shows me "No Internet Acess" status.

At the same time, I can browse the webpages in my browser and it works perfectly. My phone also can pick up the WiFi, so there is no problem in the router.

The other thing is that my Spotify app, Outlook, and probably other apps are showing that it is offline and can't connect to the Internet.

I already tried:

-Run troubleshooter Didn't detected anything

-Restart router

-Restart PC

-Install the previous version of this update from Microsoft Update Catalog didn't allow me:

2020-07 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 2004 for x64 KB4562899

None of these helped me.

Is there any solution without full system reset, that could fix it?

Or is there any other way how to install the previous version of this update?

August 11, 2020 - KB4569745 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 2004

Summary

An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists when ASP.NET or .NET Framework web applications running on IIS improperly allow access to cached files. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could gain access to restricted files. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need to send a specially crafted request to an affected server. The update addresses the vulnerability by changing how ASP.NET and .NET Framework handle requests.

CVE-2020-1476

A remote code execution vulnerability exists when Microsoft .NET Framework processes input. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could take control of an affected system. To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker would need to be able to upload a specially crafted file to a web application. The security update addresses the vulnerability by correcting how .NET Framework processes input.
