Windows 10: No internet in other programs when opening a browser

Hi everyone,I recently got a new pc Acer Nitro N50-656 and it works perfectly fine. I am also using an ethernet cable and the speed and reliability is great. I have never had any issues with that ever.However, it seems that there might be some issue with it still. I found out that when I open youtube or actually anything in a browser that video will run perfectly fine and quick. Yet when I have anything that requires internet open on my main monitor tried to download something from steam or also tried playing R6 siege, my download speed on Steam went to basically 0. As Windows 10 as Microsoft Edge in-built browser, I suggest you to try that browser and check if this issue persists.

For the issues with Internet Explorer try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run the Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter.

• Press Windows key, type troubleshooting
  and select it.
• Click on View all in the left pane.
• Click onInternet Explorer Performance and follow the onscreen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to turn off and on Internet Explorer and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows + R, type Control Panel
  and hit Enter.
• Click on Programs and Features.
• Click on Turn Windows features on or off from the left pane.
• Uncheck Internet Explorer, click on Ok.
• Restart the computer and repeat the same as above to place a check mark on Internet Explorer.

Internet Explorer 11 Programs Tab Disappears When Clicked

I suggest you to open Internet Option from Command prompt and check if it helps.

Follow the steps to open Internet Options.

1. Press windows + R and type
inetcpl.cpl.

2. After opening the Internet options check if the issue still persist.

I suggest you to check the status of the issue on different web browsers. In case you face the issue on Internet Explorer, you may add the website to Compatibility view settings and check if it helps.
To add the website to compatibility view follow the steps below.
