Windows 10: No Jack Information

I recently updated to windows 11 and my audio just stopped working out of no where. I have a laptop so i don't use headphones, but I was on my computer, everything was working fine. All of a sudden my computer ran into a problem and restarted and when I turned it back on my audio wasn't working. I've tried to update the windows audio drivers. I restarted the services and ran through all the troubleshooting options. Nothing has worked and when i troubleshoot the "playing audio" feature, it says that there is no jack information for my audio. I need help, everything I have tried doesn't seem to

Audio Not Working (No Jack Information.

• Are you able to plug and play any other headphones, is this issue specific to particular headphone?

Method 1:

I suggest you to run the Playing Audio
troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click on Playing Audio.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
• Check if issue persists.

Method 2:

I suggest you to make sure that the headphone that you are using are set as default in the computer. Follow these steps to check this:

• Right click on the volume icon and select “Playback devices”.
• Now, right click on empty space and select, “Show disconnected devices” and “Show disabled devices”.
• Select “headphone” and click on “Properties” and make sure that the headphone is enabled & set as default.
• Reconnect your headphones and check if issue is resolved.
