Windows 10: No log in screen / can’t click anything

Hi,

Since yesterday, I’ve been unable to log in to my laptop. It boots normally, but once I go to the log in screen (by clicking), there’s nothing (not even the three buttons in the bottom right corner, which sometimes appear and sometimes don’t).

I also can’t click any buttons, and my mouse feels like it has sped up (like it’s reverted from my usual settings).

If I leave my laptop for an hour, I’ll get the password bar, but nothing I type goes through.

i also have a backlit keyboard which I can no longer control the brightness of with the keys.

does anyone know a solution/what this could be?

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

So this is not a BSOD ? Have a Windows 10 disc or USB Flash Drive made ? How are you getting to task manager Ctrl.+Alt+Del ? Any cursor on screen ?
