I have tried:

Additional information:
>No mods are being used
>No game files have been changed in any way
>Playing on lowest possible settings, both in-game and on NVIDIA control panel
>Game mode: normal
>Crash happens independently of what I'm doing in-game
>Crash frequency: once per two weeks, increased to once per week, then increased to once per ~3 days, increased to 3 per day
>All crashes produce the same crash dump above
>Crash pattern: Game suddenly freezes, then message pops up reading "No Man's Sky not responding" then crash to desktop
>~10% SSD space used
>RAM usage of the game was ~3GB when it crashed

I have been reporting this issue to Hello Games (The developers of the game) numerous times (one report every time a crash occurs), for ~2 months now, but they haven't yet responded. Meanwhile, the crashes have been getting more and more frequent.

To anybody reading this: Could you please suggest something to prevent this issue from occurring anymore, particularly if you have encountered or seen this issue before? Any meaningful help would be very much appreciated.

Hello! I had a bunch of Explorer windows open when they all closed, the task bar cleared out and repopulated again, and peeking at the Application Log I see

Trouble with No Man's Sky Crashing

Hello all. Got No Man's Sky when it was on sale the other week and have been having a hard time playing it due to crashing. After I play for a while, it will shut down my PC and reboot it saying that there was a power surge and that ASUS protection shut down my computer to avoid the problem.

I was told to plug the computer directly into a wall socket and that did help. I can sometimes even play the game for an hour before it crashed now (2-5 minutes before), but it still crashes. I was also told to try Unigine Heaven and run it on Ultra to see if I could recreate the problem there and I could not.

Current setup is:
i7-4770 @ 3.40 GHz CPU
16 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 1070 ti
A Thermaltake TR2 600w power supply

My power supply is old, maybe 8 years, and I don't mind replacing it, but I don't have this problem with any other game and don't want to replace it just because. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
