Windows 10: no output or input device found

    I recently updated laptop asus k513ea and now I cant get any sound or microphone from my laptop.I tried various troubleshooting methods, but I just cant seem to get it working again. I didn't have any issues before the update and my laptop hasn't moved so I'm sure it must be a driver issue of some sort.One of the options was to uninstall the drivers. Since then They wont show up in device manager. the audio folder only has my bluetooth headphones, and in "sound, video and game controllers" i have my headphones and "microsoft streaming service proxy"in 'other devices' I have the Intel high de

    no input or output audio devices found

    Unfortunately, that did not work. There is something listed under the sound now in the device manager and that says it is functioning, but i still have no sound and it states there are no input and output devices.

    No audio input or output devices found

    After the last update of Windows 10, no audio devices are listed

    Searching in the device manager: all audio devices say it works fine

    The sound setting says: no output or input devices were found.

    No sound input or output devices

    Since updating WIndows I no longer have any sound input or output devices listed under device manager - sound video games controllers. Intel smart sound technology oed had yellow warning triangle.

    What can I do to get the sound working on my laptop.
