Pues ya tengo rato con este problema, no tengo varios archivos .dll que necesito (como el align.dll) y ya intente de todo, desde descargarlos e instalarlos sin ningún resultado, investigando encontré que instalando el media feature pack para la version de windows 10 que tengo podría resolver el problema, encontre el pack adecuado para la versión que tengo pero al intentar instalarlo me aparece lo siguiente:


"instalador independiente de windows update la actualizacion no es aplicable al equipo windows 10"


ya no se que hacer, formatee mi computadora y volví a instalar windows y nada, ejecute el sfc /scannow y nada, trate de instalar el media future pack que es para versione N y NK de windows y tampoco me deja. Ayudenme estoy desesperado.

I seem to be running into similair issues. After the update, features reliant on the Media Pack stopped functioning correctly, so I reinstalled the pack, which did not have any effect. After following your steps, I noticed that the Media Feature Pack was
not even listed as a feature on my PC. Further help would be highly appreciated!

Hi Adam,

There is a big possibility that the version of the Media Feature Pack
that you're downloading is not compatible with the current version of your Windows. Let's try to check first your Windows version. See the steps below on how to do so:

• Press Windows key, then type in winver.
• A pop-up box will show up containing your Windows version.
• Send us a screenshot.

In the meantime, here are the Media Feature Pack for different Windows version:

• Media Feature Pack for N edition of Windows 10 Version 1703 (April 2017).
• Media Feature Pack for N editions of Windows 10 Version 1607.
