Windows 10: No recommended troubleshooter, last run: never

Here are the things that I've tried, to get my recommended troubleshooter to work with no success:


Start Cryptographic Services Using Service Manager
1 Press Windows button and R at the same time to launch RUN dialog box.
2 Type services.msc and press enter
3 Scroll down through the list and double click on Cryptographic Services.
Usually, Its Startup type will be set to MANUAL in your system. Set it to Automatic and start it if it isn't running.

Change your group policy Doesn't work on 10 Home
1 Press Windows Key + R and enter gpedit.msc.
2 Press Enter or click OK
3 Group Policy Editor will now start
4 Navigate to this parth: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates> System > Troubleshooting and Diagnostics > Scripted Diagnostics.
5 Check the State of each entry. If it’s set to Disabled, double click the disabled entry and set it to Enabled or Not configured. Do this for all three entries on the list.

Check the system registry value of software publishing
1 Press Windows Key + R and enter regedit.
2 Press Enter or click OK.
3 The Registry Editor will now open.
4 In the left pane, navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > WindowsCurrentVersion > WinTrust> Trust Providers > Software Publishing
5 In the right pane, double click the State button.
6 Make sure that the Value data is 23c00 if not, change it to that value and confirm changes.


Is there anyone out there that can help without recommending a clean install?

No recommended troubleshooter, last run: never

Recently upgraded to Windows 10 v2004. I'm trying to clean up an old AMD video driver

using the recommended steps here. When browsing to this
microsoft help page it advises me to run a troubleshooting tool, but there's no option on the microsoft settings page (see screenshot)





I've looked everywhere within control panel but haven't been able to find anything that helps. I found a

similar post that seems to be locked without any discussion or suggestions as to a fix. Please advise!

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):
