  1. No Right Click EJECT Context Menu For USB Flash Drive

Previously, I had a right click/Eject context menu for my USB removable flash drives. Then I used a driver updater programme to update the usb drivers. There was a problem with the new drivers so I reverted back to the old ones. The problem is now in My PC, the right click EJECT menu is missing. The safely eject menu continues to work in the task bar. Is there any way I can get the right click/EJECT menu back for my usb flash drives? The problem may be because the computer is treating flash drives the same way as USB mass storage drives, which I know don't have an Eject option. Then again, it m

  2. Eject USB drive using the explorer

When I right click a drive in the This PC view which is associated with an SD card I have the option in the context menu to eject it. If it is associated with a USB flash drive this option doesn't come up. In order to eject my flash drive I have to click the icon in the tray bar for safely removing hardware and eject media. Why is that not possible using the explorer by right clicking the drive?

  3. No Option To Eject USB Flash Drive

New Windows 10 Pro install. When I click on the USB icon to eject a flash drive the flash drive shows up, but the option to eject USB flash memory is missing.

No Right Click EJECT Context Menu For USB Flash Drive

    usb thumb drive ejection problem.

Just two or three days ago I started having a problem when I try to eject a Sandisk 32GB usb thumb and get the nasty li'l "device is currently in use" window. I've been using this thumb for over a year now with no problems. I haven't made any changes to
the computer or to the usb drive to coincide with the onset of this issue. I typically have ejected it by clicking on it in the notification tray, when this problem arose I tried ejecting it through Windows Explorer by right-clicking on the drive in the
explorer window, but now the context menu that pops up doesn't even have the eject option - which it did previously. Right now I'm turning the computer off to remove the thumb drive. Any info or assistance is appreciated.
