Windows 10: No sleep OR screensaver since update to 2004

I updated my PC to Version 2004 and since then, even though I have a screensaver set to come on after 10 minutes,

nothing happens. I tried sleep yesterday as an option. It worked once, but never again. I looked at the update and

can see no uninstall of it. Is there a work-around to get a screensaver or sleep to work again? I don't want my screen

to burn-in.

Log in screen sleeps into blank screensaver since update...?

My login screen for Win10 sleeps into a screensaver blank screen since a major update a few days ago.
How can I adjust settings for that?

Good luck with the other user’s suggestion.

My go-to list when updating to a new version of Windows is:

Disconnect all external USB devices apart from mouse & keyboard.

Turn off/disable third party antivirus.

Change desktop theme to default.

Change screensaver to None.

Set sleep to off.

Doing this I’ve never had problems.

With 2004 I’m discovering the problem is with Malwarebytes & not my pc/Windows.

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.
