  1. No Sound after Windows Update

After windows update, I do not have any sound and a speaker with the red "x" next to it. Tried researching all forums and used possible solutions including the list from Microsoft. It appears the computer no longer uses the portable green jack on the back for any speaker inputs. Went to device , it appears manager and I have a device called Intel High Definition DSP with an exclamation mark next to it. When I go to details it appears to not have a driver and cannot retrieve a driver online. Tried to delete the device but it returns upon reboot.

Now before you make any suggestions, this happened to 3 of my computers the same day! My home office and 2 at work.

Should I just wait for a patch to rectify?

    Thanks in advance

    :)

    Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue No Sound after Windows Update :p
