Windows 10: no sound AGAIN after july 2018 update

after the july 2018 update i have no sound from my speakers. tried to trouble shoot and update drivers but they seem to be working fine. Please help!!!!

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Windows 10 update July 2017

Hello Meg,

it will tell you it was they last update on the computer. It should be the first recover option on the list, I only had one option to select.

Although my backup date was July 17, 2017.

Yours may be similar?

I got no sound microsoft or horrible sound

• Are you getting any error message?
• Have you installed all the pending Windows updates?
