Windows 10: No sound in some games

I know that this isn't a Microsoft question, and I'm sorry, I've asked on all forums and I haven't came up with answers yet. I need help.


Games like: Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Ravenfield, Borderlands 2, Battlefield V and etc. There are more games that I just haven't discovered that don't have sound. Some games do have sound for example, Fallout 4, Counter Strike Global Offensive, and etc


What I think is the problem: I think the problem is I am missing a driver because when I looked in my device manager awhile back there were two drivers for sound drivers, High Definition Audio Device, (which I think came with windows or something) and Realtek High Definition Audio Device. Currently only Realtek High Definition Audio Device is there. Maybe that is the problem? That i'm missing the High Definition Audio Device?


My PC: MSI GET72VR Apache Pro

• Windows 10 Home

• I7-7700HQ processor

• NVIDIA Geforce GTX1050TI

• 17.3" FHD, Anti-Glare Wide View Angle 120Hz 5ms

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Sound cuts out when in game and call

Do you get sound with basic windows drivers?

I suggest you try the following steps:

Follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Right on the start icon and click on device manager
  
• 
  Expand Sound video and Gaming , Select the Audio adapter, right click on un-install.
  
• 
  Restart the computer.
