Windows 10: No Sound in Windows 10

Hi. I have the following issue. One day the sound just disappeared. I verified the driver manager there were only realtek hight definition audio with error code 45. Tried to fix the problem with Windows troubleshooting tool, didnt help.Then I tried to remove the realtek audio hight definition driver and install it again (from the cd of my motherboard). On HighAudioDefinitionBus shows the error 19 Windows cannot start this device because its configuration information in the registry is incomplete or damaged

After the reinstalling a driver it doesnt detect other RealtekAudio devices except the HighAudioDefinitionBus. I also checked my bios configuration all the audio devices are enabled.

In the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318} the UpperFilter value is set to "ksthunk edevmon"


I dont know what could the problem be caused by.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue
