    Hello,

    Today I got my brand new monitor in. Eizo's new model EV2750-BK.

    Everything works fine except no sound. The system does recognize the monitor and speakers. In the taskbar icon I set the Eizo speakers to default and I set them to standard communication. My system language is Dutch so I'm not sure what it would say in English there.

    The taskbar icon menu also showing the speakers getting signal. I put in an audio connection cable from the back of the desktop to the monitor. The system says everything looks good (green checks). But no sound. When I plug in my USB-headphones I do get sound. What am I missing?

    no sound on new hp24uh monitor. do I need speakers or is there internal speakers

    No audio - Win 10 on iMac (High Sierra)

    Sorry but with a new install i cant image going through it again is going to make any difference.

    Interestingly, connecting my Thunderbolt monitor provides sound through that monitor’s built in speakers. So, sound works, just not with the internal or external speakers in the imac itself.
