Windows 10: no sound when starting windows 10 version 1809

Sometimes when I start my system, I will have no sound. I then restart my system and the sound then works. Here are my sound drivers:

AMD High Definition Audio Device

3/30/2018

10.0.1.7

Realtek High Definition Audio
5/20/2016
6.0.1.7829

I searched Windows update, and the web, as well as the sound device mfg sites, and as far as I can tell these are the latest drivers.


I have tried all the remedies from the Microsoft site to fix the issue, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, searching for updated drivers, stoping the sound services and restarting them to no avail.


Please be aware that this issue happened prior to updating to version 1809.

Method 1

I suggest you to follow the steps below to change the windows start up sound.

• 
  Type sounds
  in the control panel.
  
• 
  Click on sounds.
  
• 
  Under program events ,under
  windows just click windows logon.
  
• 
  Enable play start up sounds.
  
• 
  From speech
  select the sound for windows logon.
  
• 
  Click on apply.
  
• 
  Click ok.
  

Method 2

I suggest you to follow the steps below to change the windows log off sound.

• 
  Type sounds in the
  control panel.
  
• 
  Click on sounds.
  
• 
  Under program events ,under
  windows just click windows logoff.
  
• 
  From speech select the sound for
  windows logoff.
  
• 
  Click on apply.
  
• 
  Click ok.
  

If windows logon and logoff options are not available,then in that case you just need to

• 
  Enable play start up sounds.to get the windows start up sound .And by default there will be single sound available for windows logon sound.

Start up sound in windows 10

Version Anniversary
Update build 14393

Updated Audio Driver, checked the start up sound its enabled the audio works fine but not getting the Windows sound on Start up.

Please suggest any steps that can resolve the problem,
