Windows 10: No Sound WMP10

My Windows Media Player 10 had no sound searching for help I landedn on a Microsoft page where they downloaded my WMP and in a verry quick time I received I received it completely OK , but I lost the URL,do you now where I can find that URL?I've lost sound again but I know NOW what te reason is so i would be helped with the URL Faks11a

WMP10 and Activesync problem

I have a WM6 device and Activesync 4.5 installed on a XP sp2 system. Everything is fine on my main user logon, but if I logon to another user with restricted access and try to start WMP10, it locks up. It seems to start rapimgr.exe and even after killing
that it still won't run properly.



I do not want or need Activesync on any other user other than my own.



There are other user accounts on my PC that need WMP10 functional, without needing Activesync.



Any suggestions?

 

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Sound Quality

One thing that sticks out from looking at your "My Computer" specs. You list "ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)" which suggests you do not have the correct sound hardware driver. Your motherboard has Realtek sound and the first step is to install the Realtek sound drivers. My ASUS also came with Sonic Studio 2 which is a sound enhancement package. Check the ASUS install disc to see if you have something similar.

May not be a speaker problem.
