    No standby in Windows 10?

    That is a system file corruption

    Open in elevated command prompt by typing in cortana "cmd" no parentheses, right click and click, run as administrator

    Click yes on UAC
    Type sfc /scannow

    That should fix the system file corruptions.

    Windows XP standby is now called "Sleep" in Windows 10, which is also in Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1
