Windows 10: No updates. Error code 0x80080300

I have a question regarding updates on my new windows 10 acer laptop. I cannot accept updates and the error code I am getting is 0x80080300 can anyone help me, I have checked setting and all seems fine on there, choose how updates are installed is on automatic (recommended)

Come on. You mean you never heard about error code 0x80080300? Really? Everybody knows about error code 0x80080300. Where have you been?

But seriously ...

That error code is connected with Windows Store apps. There's very little information about it, and for its part Microsoft has not published a detailed explanation, even in TechNet. An earlier update published through Windows Update was supposed to solve
the problem, but apparently not for everyone.

Individuals on the internet have posted solutions that work in individual cases, but so far there's been no comprehensive solution. I wouldn't do anything about it, and it's certainly not worth the trouble of re-installing Windows.

For the error code 0x803F8001:

• What are the specific apps you are trying to update?
• Are those apps related to Xbox games?

For the error code (0x409) 0x80080300:

• When did you receive this error code?
• Can you tell us the activity that you're trying to do?
  
• Have you installed all the updates on your computer?

To check for the updates, you may click on Start > type
Windows Update > click Check for updates.

In the meantime, we suggest that you run the troubleshooter for Windows apps.
The program will identify the cause of this issue and will automatically fix it.

After you run the program, restart your computer, and check if the issue is resolved.
