  1. 'No WiFi Network found'...several months

One fine day, several months ago, all the networks disappeared and only shows "no wifi network found". The wifi network is working on all other devices but my HP laptop with Windows 10. I have tried rolling back the driver, unintstalling and reinstalling the driver, disabling firewall and anti-virus but nothing works. The properties of the driver show that it is working properly. When running the troubleshooter, it says that a network cable is unplugged. The problem is only with WiFi. I can access the Internet when I connect a dongle with a USB wire.

    :)

  2. WiFi networks not being detected.

    Hey,

Thanks for the reply. I tried the steps you listed above, unfortunately it was to no avail as the problem still lingers.

Just to make it clear wifi was working normally up and until a month ago, then all of a sudden it stopped. I have fiddled around with power management settings, network adapter settings but still I am not able find a solution.

Wifi network not appearing after recent Win 10 monthly patch

Someone else on another forum suggested I switch the wifi freq on my Android Nexus 5x. So I switched it from 5ghz to 2.4 and it worked! Problem solved. Now my Nexus hotspot is again appearing in my Win 10 list of available wifi networks. So problem was with Android and not Windows.

WiFi issue in the secured network?

    Greetings hirababulogantha,

The following are troubleshooting steps I use myself whenever I get odd disconnects on any of my mobile devices that always seem to resolve this type of issue.

    To turn Off/On Wifi

    • Go to Settings on the phone
    • Navigate and tap Wifi
    • Flick Wifi off or on.

    Remove a stored(known) network

    • Go to Settings on the phone
    • Navigate and tap Wifi
    • Flick Off Wifi
    • Tap Advanced
    • Tap and hold on the university network then tap Delete.
    • Flick On Wifi
    • Tap the university network to connect to it again.
    Best Regards,
