Windows 10: no wifi option

i got a new pc recent

(fierce gaming pc ryzen 3 gtx 1650 8gb ram 1tb hdd)

there is no option to turn wifi on settings

the logo for wifi is the global logo with a blocked sign in the corner, when I press it it just has network and internet settings but there is no button for wifi airplane more or anything like that

been trying for awhile

been recommended a driver so im going to try that (got given a dynamode antenna with usb adaptor and using that)

I need help, I need to get my pc up and running!

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run the Network Adapter troubleshooter.

  Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Network Adapter troubleshooter.
  

Step 2: You may follow the steps and check if it helps in resolving the issue, as the device might be hidden.

    Press Windows key + X.
    
  • 
    Click on Device Manager.
    
  • 
    Click on View.
    
  • 
    Click on Show
    Hidden Devices.
    
  • 
    Search for the Bluetooth device.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...


That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

Radeon Overlay not displaying all options

Ok, I got a question. The options to hide the overlay are confusing. What are the steps to turn on the overlay in-game? Not interested in logging much at the moment. Is Alt-R part of turning it on/off?
