Windows 10: None of the Windows App are opening

PLEASE HELP !!

It's been been months, I have been trying to reach out. Filled out so many feedbacks but no reply.

None of the windows app are opening right now. It started with Calculator app then all the installed windows app. It started after I upgraded to the newer stable windows update 20H2I guess. It automatically wanted to upgrade all the apps in the windows store and as it started every app downloaded gets an Error message. After that it's history. I tried restoring to a previous restore point, then the apps start working again, then the windows store starts auto upgrading again then everything gets to ground zero. None of the apps are opening. I cannot use any of the app including the camera, whereas the third party apps can access microphone and camera So, hardware is ok.

It was all okay before that Windows upgrade. I have a genuine Windows home edition.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

Open powershell as administrator

Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online

Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

Hey Shawn,
I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!

Can I customize the list of suggest apps in the "Open with" menu?

You can't use it to add additional programs, only to set default programs.

Interestingly for me it shows nothing for text files:

Then if I want to add a portable app like Jarte Plus to open with context menu windows doesn't like it.

It's not present and is near impossible to add even via "look for an app on this PC"
