Windows 10: Nonsense Updates

Every day I get an update and nothing changes when they are installed. As soon as I start up my computer again after installing an update, it says I have to install another update. I have lost work and downloads have been canceled as well all due to constant updating. It seems like it just keeps on trying to install the same update over and over but I wouldn't know. The updates are also very intrusive and after the first time selecting a time it only gives me an option to wait an hour, and eventually it gives me no other option than to update immediately. This is really frustrating and I'd like help on this.

General Nonsense on front page

he is suggesting the "Latest Posts" section not include the nonsense forum posts so it shows
constructive posts only and not bullchit stuff.

the requests for assistance are often quickly burried by nonsense posts so he does have a valid point to make about it.

i have found myself needing to bump my own posts requesting help because of posts like "i cant decide who to ask to the prom" or "is my old pizza ok?" lol. while nonsense is amuzing the posts knocking down requests for help from the highlighted section are counter productive to the expressed purpose of helping people with tech questions.

maybe nonsense posts could replace the "headlines" section since this is only repeating whats on the home page?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

you must be refering to the side list of latest forum updates. perfectly fine place for them to be. the MAIN paige has more relevent stuff, and more appropriate amusing stuff (rarety) I dont see any thing that needs changing.

we keep the main full of tech updates, but people are allowed to post, and the general nonsense forum is appropriatly used
