Windows 10: not able to move the silder on the mic for my headset

Discus and support not able to move the silder on the mic for my headset in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Hi I am trying to increase my head set mic volume but i cant drag the slider up or down, & not able to type it in manually...     PC Specs will help us help you.

    What is the brand/model of the headset mic combo?

    What front panel audio jack(s) do you have? Some are only mic or only headset, some can be either mic or headset whichever is plugged in and some are combination headset/mic.

    Depends on the specs of your hardware, you have not given enough detail.

    PCs are normally separate Headphone and Mic sockets.
    Laptops a Combo socket (TRRS).

    Headsets usually come with adapters to cater for both scenarios.

    My headset has a Combo plug (TRRS), and an adapter for separate Headphones and Mic sockets.

    You can plug the Headset Combo plug in to a Headphone only socket, but the Mic won't work. there is no second R contact.

    Corsair Void Headset - No MIC Audio

    I have a Corsair VOID USB gaming headset and for some reason since switching to Windows 10, I can't get the MIC to work. I can hear fine, but can't talk. It worked fine on Windows 7, and works fine on another computer.

    I have the latest drivers and control software installed from Corsair, and if I really fiddle with it I am able to get the MIC audio to work in my DAW (Ableton Live 10 sound recording software), but it won't work anywhere else like Skype, which is really where I need it.

    Any suggestions?
