Windows 10: Not able to update cumulative patches after moving to Windows 10 20H2

Hello,


My laptop got updated to 20H2 OS Build 19042.610. From November 2020 onwards, the monthly cumulative patches are not getting installed at all on my laptop DELL inspiron. The error that comes is:

How do I resolve this? I ran the "chkdsk" several times and there were no errors reported.

Cannot find individual KB numbers for patches inside Windows Cumulative Update

I have been trying to find a source for the individual patches contained in the new Windows Cumulative Updates, as I would like to be able to compare the KB numbers against the security bulletins. So far I cannot find the list of contained patches, only an overview.

Are they stored anywhere on the machine (I have checked the registry etc, but only find KBs for the Cumulative Update), if not, is there an online source for this data?

 

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.
