Windows 10: Not BSOD - but error -2147219195, blank settings, no services and more

Hello to the forum.
Problem with w10p 1909 build.
After 'playing' with networking to try direct ethernet between w7p and w10p machines got as far as each seeing the other on network. Permissions refused access from either side ... so 'played' with those !
Result now is w7p machine continues as normal. While w10p machine refused Firefox start (already running, stop, repeat endlessly). Tried Firefox refresh which did connect to net and seemed to work ... then back to endless loop of running,stop, still running.
Background:
Black Viper services list used (not radical just advised) + O&Oshutup10 + Glary utilities.
And ... somewhere in rgedit.msc I think MS edge is disabled along with Cortana.
I have done:
Checked network and that is as expected (sight of other machine, printer test page etc)
Run sfc twice, system restore point once, confirmed Dcom launch running, RPC running (not locator).
Problems:
Taskbar search fails to respond at all, All settings are empty (need Win+X to open and then first panel empty without ability to go anywhere, services.msc = not responding, settings>more>appsettings = no response.
Also getting "File system error -2147219195
Have searched for all the above and followed suggestions without success.

I have uninstalled Firefox in an attempt to update it (as refresh failed).
From BSOD forum have used the V2 to produce report here >FOPX7Y2-(2020-11-20_12-38-24).zip
This sent from w7p machine without changing the network settings I was 'playing' with so not completely sure they are the cause ... permissions were only 'played with' on w10p machine .... users\me>properties>general unchecked 'read-only' ...... then reset back to 'read-only' which is the current state.
Any help appreciated ....

+1 to listing your full system specs, OS version, etc. I did only look at your BSOD log file.

Run a Diskchk /R (I know you already ran one, so you can skip this)

Run SFC /SCANNOW

Report back.

Seemingly and for no reason at all I find that I cannot bring up some of my e-mails that have images or information attached. I keep getting "File System Error-2147219195. How do I fix this error
