Not enough space to reset and other options aren't working

    Hi really need some help.

My brother borrowed my laptop and downloaded a large game on it maxing out the space. The laptop now will not go past the troubleshoot options I have tried all the options I can, such as uninstalling the latest version of Windows updates, reset, automatic repair. I have even tried to completely reset and delete all files but it's telling me I do not have enough space to this but I can't get on to the laptop to delete files so I'm stuck. Any suggestions?

    :)

The native apps from the system are all showing this strange square instead of the normal icons. Please help resolve this problem. Thanks

  3. Icons from apps aren´t displayed correctly

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query at Microsoft community.

Do the apps work fine apart form the icons not displaying correctly? If so I would suggest you to run an SFC scan and check if it helps. If the issue persists you may run DISM command and check.

    Follow this steps:

      • Press Windows+X.

      • Click on Command Prompt (Admin).

      • Type the command SFC /SCANNOW and
        DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and hit
        Enter.
Hope the information provided was helpful and do let us know if you need any assistance in the future. We will be glad to help.

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
