Windows 10: Not getting the latest 1809 version for W10 Pro

Hey, community!


I got a Surface Pro 4 which since the month of May runs 1803 version. it's now already December and I'm yet to receive the latest 1809 version although I usually check for updates every day or two.


Does someone have a solution?

WMP for version 1809...


My Windows 10 N, version 1803 had used Windows Media Player via installing it from the "Windows_MediaFeaturePack_x64_1803.msu" file.

Updating to 1809 removed the WMP and no longer available in the apps list:





There's an updated version listed at:

But clicking on the link and looking for the 1809 in the drop down list of versions does not show the media feature pack available for download for 1809; instead it shows version 1709 and 1803.

Does anyone have a direct link to WMP for Windows 10 N, version 1809?

Go back to free w10 version from w10 pro

Hello

Im going to explain my problem since de begining:

I had problems with my w10 version that I get from the update from w8.1, so I decided to restore my w10. During the process it show me an error so I freaked out and decided to reinstall w10. So I get the tool to do so from another pc, and it show me 2 options:
install w10 home or install w10 pro. First I install w10 home, since I thought my w10 version was the most basic, but it says that I need to purchase a license. So I decided to try the other version. Now I have the same problem, and no money to purchase a
license. My question is: Given that I don't have my product key from w8.1 and I don't know my previous key product for w10 (The version that was free), is there any way to go back to the free version of w10? and if not, What is going to happen to my pc if
I don't activate my w10 pro version?

Version 1809 anomaly

The latest version is 1803 not 1809. The message is correct. Why 1803 is latest not 1809 -

Windows feature update 1809 has been paused by Microsoft and currently it is being tested by Windows Insiders community.

You should not install 1809 at this juncture unless Microsoft re-releases it. Keep an eye on Windows Blogs to know when it will be released.
