You know what you should also try out once you read this? (If you don't know how to go into your computer's BIOS, look up online on how to do that)

Go in you BIOS and see if you can find some option that states that it has disabled all your USB ports.

Read it. The problem is that none of the USB devices causing the issue. As a matter of fact even if some is, I wouldn't be able to know which one, cause as you saw on the screenshot I do have a shit tonne of USB devices listed when I click on USB tree. So won't try this method as any of the USB causing the issue(the issue is that when I plug any USB devices I don't see it. I can't even see it in Disk Management)

Once again, when I plug something in via USB it's just like I did not plug anything.

I am just a beginner and you may have already done this but –
Something that has just helped me get a USB device working was uninstalling all the ‘history’ of USB/Disks/Portable devices/and others from within Device Manager (by clicking View/Show hidden devices then rightclick/Uninstall all the ghostly greyed out items).

Yes, that "history" is actually the leftover hidden devices. In the case of your USB devices, when you plug the same device into a different port, or plug a new device into a previously used port, if what was in there before doesn't match what you just plugged in, it installs the proper driver, but leaves the old one there. Gets a little complicated, but you're right, clutter will build up and can cause "electronic confusion" *Smile.

    Not recognising any USB devices

Tried this just a second ago, and nothing. You were right, when I view hidden devices, a bunch of devices popped up, I uninstalled my phone first as I have it at hand and I try wit this device first, but nothing. Phone just lit up indicating source of power has been plugged in, and that's it*Sad

    Hey binks,
Based on your motherboard and your last screen shot I didn't see any reference to VIA USB3 Controller, do you see any references to VIA USB3 Controllers in Device Manager? If not then go to to Gigabytes Support and download the VIA USB3 Driver.

Update. I knew that there was a reason why I didn't tried that before. I just couldn't remember what it was. I had USB3 driver downloaded fronGigabyte website, so it is an official one. I run setup and it did install USB. But setup also installs VIA XHCI Host Controller and at that stage I got stop message saying that "install wizard can't find the supported hardware in your system. ... Please press OK to terminate the install wizard" So I did tried that before, cause I do remember now that stop message. So the only option I have here is to cancel and when I do, the installer tells me that any it didn't made any changes to my system.

Next update - regardless of installer saying that it didn't changed anything in my system, I just restarted it and plugged my phone when it went back online. Result - nothing. The same as before. Just a power in my phone and no device seen in my PC*Sad

OK, I might have missed it, but did you go into BIOS and make sure the USB ports are enabled ?

    Idea - I am running W10 64bit. So maybe Gigabyte doesn't support 64bit?
