    How can I create a new notepad documents with default utf-8 encoding?

    There has some solutiongs for win7 or win10 (1511), but win10(1607) not find the folder 'C:\Windows\ShellNew'.

    Could someone give me some help? Thank you very much.

    Yestody,I has tried to do something as the this page said:

    Default UTF-8 encoding for new Notepad documents

    When I copy the blank txt-file(uft8.txt) to 'C:\Windows\ShellNew', I found that the folder was not exists.

    so ,I didn't know how to do next.

    But,this morning I tried to create the folder(C:\Windows\ShellNew).

    Then, copy the blank txt-file(uft8.txt) to the folder(C:\Windows\ShellNew) and restart the PC.

    I suprised, It works.
