Windows 10: Notice saying I need product key

    Notice saying I need product key


    Hi

    My PC has been running fine for a long time, yesterday it tried to update and after 2 hours, rolled back as there was a problem updating. Not sure what though.

    This morning I get a message telling me my windows will expire soon and needs to be activated. I have a digital license.

    Using windows 10 pro 64bit.

    I've attached a screenshot of my activation screen. What seems to be the problem? I don't have an organisation.

    • When you say ‘’Key product’’ do you refer to the Windows activation product key?
    • As you have selected to the phone category, are you getting any issue related to product key on the phone?
    If you refer to the phone, please be informed that there’s no such as product key for Phone. In case, if you refer to the product key of Windows system, I suggest you to go to the below link and go through the information.

    Where is my Product Key if I want to re-install?


    Like davidhk said. But if you really want to see your windows key, I would suggest Belarc advisor. It will give you some useful information about your system, product keys of your software is among them (not only Microsoft, you will have listed most of your keys).
