Windows 10: Notification about missing sound card

Discus and support Notification about missing sound card in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I have a busted chip on my motherboard for the sound card.     Notification about missing sound card


    I have a busted chip on my motherboard for the sound card. I am aware that it can't be fixed without much cost, so I'm leaving it. It's a Windows 10 Asus desktop, about 2 years old.

    But I keep getting a message about a missing sound card. I have turned off all the Win 10 notifications, but it pops up every time I boot up.

    Can I turn this off?

    changing calendar alarm tone

    Made the move from Android to WP8 and very happy, except the notifications for email and calendar events. The descreet sound it to quite. I miss important calendar events after this move to WP8. PLEASE make ALL notification sounds customizable!!

    No notification sound in mail on lumia 550.

    My Lumia 550 will not make a sound when I receive an Email.

    It is set to play sound in: Outlook Mail/Settings/Notifications.

    It is set to make notification sound in: Settings/Personalisation/Sounds/App sounds/Outlook mail.

    Other than that there doesn't seem to be anything I am missing. Notification sounds are working for receiving texts & Watsapp.

    Please help.

    Notification about missing sound card

    Can you disable on board audio in Bios? That would keep Windows from even seeing it.

    Hi and thanks.

    Yes I can do that, but my sound system still works, even though there is a busted chip on the motherboard. But I don't want to lose all my sound, so I won't do that.

    Strangely the problem seems to have gone away, and I did nothing.
