    Notifications and Action Center not working.


    Hi,


    Just recently, out of the blue, my action center/notifications panel will not open and I cannot for the life of me find a fix that works. I have tried many "solutions" found both on the web and here, to no avail.


    Whenever I click on the action bar bottom right the cursor shows the load symbol for about a second, then nothing happens. It will not open at all. Even using the key shortcuts or searching will not open it at all. Please help me!

    Stop action center notifications in Windows 10

    • Do you want to stop notifications only from Defender or stop all action center notifications?
    To stop action center notifications, I suggest you to follow the steps given below:


    • Type settings in search bar and hit
      enter.

    • Go to system.

    • Select notifications and actions.

    • Click on turn system icons on or off.

    • Turn off action center.

    Hi,

    It is possible that is why you're unable to get notification message, is can be due to wrong notification settings. To better assist you and clarify your concern kindly answer the following questions:

    • Have you made any recent changes before this issue occur?
    • Did you get any error messages if you modify notification settings?

    Meanwhile, we recommend that you follow the steps in this article:
    Change notification settings in action center.     It will let you modify notification settings.
