  1. notifications are not using my default browser - using Avant instead

    Windows 10 notifications area.

Know how to use the Settings, changed them to be longer, so I decide what to do.

They all seem to open in my Avast Secure Browser, which I really do not normally use. (My browser choices are largely based on good add-ons and how well Linkman works with the browser.)

    My default browser is Firefox.

Any idea why the notifications is using the Avast browser. (I could uninstall the thing and see what happens, but if this can be understood and controlled, great.)

    :)

  2. Unable to set default browser

    • Does this issue happens while you try to set other browser as default too or is it specific to specific browser?

    Any browser.

Already did the steps you suggested. It's some kind of bug where it's impossible to set a default browser at all.

I heard elsewhere from one other user
that it seems to be a problem with upgrading to 10 on the SP3. Sounds very specifc.

  3. (SOLVED/CLOSED)looking for help with Android phone CONSTANT wireless signal notification

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
