Windows 10: Npcap Loopback Adapter removed and new version of it doesn't be installed

I had internet connection issue. In fact, Windows couldn't find WiFi option in Network setting. It did appear WiFi removed as a feature. I googled to find a solution. A solution mentioned to uninstall Npcap and reinstall it. But, after I uninstalled it I didn't know how to reinstall it. So, I downloaded a new version of Npcap and tried to install it. In installation, in first a message emerged that mentioned "Npcap already exists, do you want remove it?" And I answer yes. After that, this message emerges:"Failed to create the Npcap service: 0x8007007e".Every time I try to install the new versi

• Nmap: the Network Mapper - Free Security Scanner
• Npcap: Windows Packet Capture Library & Driver

I had the same thing after installing nmap. I'm studying for system / network administrator and I used this program to scan an entire network, selected host or single server for open ports (can also be used for other scans).

A quick way of finding out if the following program is installed, go to start and type Nmap

Nmap - Zenmap GUI should pop up.

Yes, i think the Npcap Loopback Adapter appeared after the Creators Update if I’m not mistaken.

Do you know what it is & what does it do?
