Windows 10: Nuance Power pdf - Document Properties window

is there a way to have the "Document Properties" window (when you press Ctrl+D) to auto/default to opening to/with the "Initial View" tab selected? opposed to the "Description" tab selected.

I would suggest to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Refer the steps to install a driver in compatibility mode:

a. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select
Properties

b. Select Compatibility Tab

c. Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list

d. Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.

Nuance Power PDF Advanced not working in Windows 10

I recently received a phone call from Nuance that stated it was being recorded. (YEAH LOL)


The representative (believe it was a trainee) on the other end was "trying" to encourage me to upgrade a Nuance program.

I said that I was glad she called and told her about the problems I had using their PDF program with WIN 10, and that I had to reinstall Win7 to use their program.

The Rep stated it was compatible; I asked her to read the operating system information on the documentation to me. The doc does not list Win 10. I stated I needed it to be fixed and that I wanted to be able to use the program I have before upgrading anything.

I did not receive any answer as to what _MICROSOFT AND NUANCE_ were doing to correct their incompatibly problem.

Since I installed Windows 10 my Nuance Power PDF Advanced software does not work. It worked fine with Windows 8.1 but now I get an error message telling that the program cannot be found, to make sure I have typed in the name correctly and try again. On the
advice of Nuance help staff I uninstalled Power PDF Advanced and then reinstalled it (twice!!) with the same results as outlined above (both times). Why has this incompatibility occurred with W 10 and what can I do about it?
