Could you please check what cooling you have, because this isn't exactly clear and the cooling may be important to know.

I did have another one yesterday. The computer was shut down while I was at work, and so far since I have started it back up an hour ago no shut downs yet.

Are the chipset drivers updated? If they are, try to reinstall them in case of possible corruption.

I reinstalled the drivers, just in case.

Keep me posted on the situation *Smile

Unfortunately freezes and shutdown crashes are for me more difficult to troubleshoot because they usually do not leave a lead to what could be a possible solution or cause, there are some basic troubleshooting methods to rule out a lot of stuff though.

    Numerous BSOD crashes

    Hi,
Just wanted to update you on what is happening. I kept getting the BSODs, random shut downs and freezing. I switched out my memory chips, and still getting the shut downs and freezes. I removed the video card and I am using the onboard video, but kept getting shut downs and freezing. Yesterday I removed the sound card and I am using the onboard sound. So far it has been over 24 hours and no shut downs or freezes.
