Windows 10: NVIDIA control panel not holding his settings after reboot

Does anyone knows a solution for NVIDIA control panel not holding his color settings after reboot.

Latest Win 10 Update (1703) full screen not fit

Hi,

I just found out something weird. It seems Windows/Nvidia (whichever) does not remember the resolution setting. I just used the Nvidia control panel to change the resolution and applied it and it worked. It doesn't work if I right click on the desktop
and choose to change resolution from the display setting. But when I reboot, the setting is gone and back to oversize screen. So newly applied resolution setting from Nvidia control panel is not saved and it was changed to something else every time I reboot.
So maybe 1703 read/change the resolution setting from somewhere else (the resolution in the display setting does not sync with Nvidia control panel?). Anyway, I am going to uninstall the entire Nvidia thing and reinstall it and see what happens.

Thanks for the information. The problem was that it also was not listed on Control Panel - All Control Panel Items after the update. It was the second place I looked when I could not find it on the desktop. I did a complete search for the Nvidia Control,
Nvidia Control Panel and Nvidia on the C and D drives, and the Nvidia Control Panel was no where to be found. I was able to locate the Nvidia GForce Experience app (listed on the apps menu and via a search and it function fine) and able to locate the Nvidia
Driver using Device Manager, but I was unable to locate the Nvidia Control Panel. The Nvidia Icon, which is also set using the Nvidia Control Panel, that appears at the bottom right of the screen was also missing. All is now good after talking with Nvidia
Support and following their instructions.
