Windows 10: NVME SSD not showing up

Discus and support NVME SSD not showing up in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I just plugged in a WD Blue 250GB M.2 SSD, my motherboard says that it is an M.2 drive and that it is for an SSD, but when I load my computer it does...     NVME SSD not showing up


    I just plugged in a WD Blue 250GB M.2 SSD, my motherboard says that it is an M.2 drive and that it is for an SSD, but when I load my computer it does not show on device manager, this pc or disk management.


    Does anyone know how to fix this

    NVME SSD

    Tried this, and windows still didn't see the nvme ssd. It was a brand new nvme ssd right out of the box. Nothing works.

    M2 NVME SSD

    So you think it truly is worth it to have windows installed on an M2 NVME SSD instead of installing it on a sata-600 ssd and installing your most important software on the M2 NVME SSD ?

    How much exactly does Windows 10 benefit from being installed on an M2 NVME SSD compared to a SATA-600 SSD ?

    Other than a faster boot time, how exactly does windows benefit from the direct connection to the cpu that an NVME SSD offers?
