Windows 10: O365 E5 windows Enterprise Licence

    O365 E5 windows Enterprise Licence


    I'm at a loss we have been running O365 E5 for months without any problems.


    Last week a bunch of new laptops arrived and as per usual we installed windows 10 and configured them issuing them to users. When the users log on they are being correctly upgraded to the enterprise licence but it is failing to activate.


    I was under the impression that you no longer needed to have an activated windows 10 pro Licence to upgrade to E5 and that just the install would activate with the digital licence.


    I have been doing a lot of reading and have been unable to get an answer to the following.


    Do you need a fully licensed copy of windows 10 pro on each laptop to successfully activate E5?

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
