    Would it be better to have nothing but dual ranked RAM? I'm kinda needing more than 8gbs, and I have no idea when the next BSOD is going to happen.

    I'll be getting new RAM, now that I know the difference between single and dual ranks. I swapped the single ranked sticks with my dual ranked ones. So far, so good...
