Windows 10: Office 2010 Startup Problem in Anniversary Edition

I just updated to the Anniversary Edition and Ofiice 2010 applications now displays this error screen. I tried repairing Office 2010 but the problem persists.



Has anyone had this problem and how did you solve it?

How can I get back my file associations after Creators update?

Thanks for replying - Apparently something got screwed up during the Creator update. I reinstalled Office 2010 and the problem went away. Another portion the problem occurred with my Office 2003 Outlook. I can't get it to delete so I could re-install
it. However this is a minor problem. Both Office versions worked correctly under Anniversary Edition (ie before Creator)

I used to have Office 2010 Pro and Visio 2003 installed on this machine, but removed both several months ago and installed Office 2016 and Visio 2016 in their place.

I've tried running the Windows Update troubleshooter and resetting the update database but still see these errors.

How do I convince update that I'm not using Office 2010 any more?

 

I've just solved this. For some reason, the wrong temporary directory was set for IE 11 in one user account - it was fine before the anniversary update. I couldn't move the tempory folder via the IE 11 options and had to use Method 2 in this link which worked https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/2285187 All Office 10 programs now work correctly.
