    hi guys,

Finally installed Office 2016 and has Superfly says a service pack for Office 2013.

Installed it as an upgrade, in order to avoid making some 150 rules, putting some 200 senders in junk.

In account it says product activated for Office 2013, so maybe it would be good to install Office 2013 and upgrade to Office 2016 Jimbo?

    Just a thought

You guessed wrong, I did read the requirements, I just wanted to see what it was like and thought I'd try my luck after Jimbo's experience.

    Hi there

Mine is Still working - I don't have Office 365 subscription OR Office 2013. I just have office 2010 which works unaffected so you can use both.

Project and Visio don't activate - but I don't use them anyway but the rest are fine.

I showed in my previous post EXCEL being activated -- now here's Power point. The Internal leak was obviously removed quickly.

I really like the dark grey theme too. And I'm still on a LOCAL account !!!

    cheers

just wanted to wake up this thread; I have a full office 2013 install working great on 10130, and wanted to ask you guys if you think I should dump that for the 2016 preview version, or keep my perfectly working 2013 version...I know you cant run both of them together, so I wanted to see what you guys thought/did under the same conditions...*Wink

    thanks!*Cool

Once the Office 2016 Technical Preview is over, most likely to continue using it, you will have to subscribe.

The cost for a subscription runs $99.00 per year for Home Premium and can be installed on 5 computers and 5 tablets. An individual subscription for one computer is $69.xx. I think the cheapest business subscription is $150.00 for the same number of computers and tablets as Home Premium. Of course, you'll get ongoing updates and new features as well as support for 2016.

So, if you don't want to subscribe, then by all means, stick with 2013. Especially if you don't need any more bells and whistles than you have now. *Smile

Dude, there are new features being added, especially to Excel and PowerPoint that we don't get in 2013 that you may not have seen yet.
