Windows 10: Office Home & Student 2016 not working

Hi,


I purchased this laptop in Jan'18 for my daughter who is a student. Have bill. Laptop had pre-loadedOffice Home & Student 2016. She suffered a hard disk crash recently and got it replaced. Now when she is trying to use her Office it is asking for product key. What do we do now ?

reinstalling microsoft office home and student 2016

My laptop crashed and I had to wipe it clear and reinstall Windows 10, I had purchased office home and student 2016 and in the Microsoft store it lists that this program is installed on my laptop, but I can not reinstall the program now.

I do not need the upgraded office product and would just like to reinstall my program

any help would be appreciated thxs

 

Office Home & Student 2016 intall

I purchased Office Home & Student 2016 on a card. Attempting to install it on an newly bought Windows 10 computer, after attempting to create an account, I cannot get past the "Next" button after crating a username, password, and getting an verification
number through email. The Next button appears, but does nothing.

Welcome to the Microsoft Community forums.

Please be aware that Outlook is not included with Office Home and Student. Which is why this error keeps cropping up.

Just some questions for you:

Did you download/install Outlook apart of this Office suit?

When you open Word or another Office App, does it work correctly?

Are you a Student?

If the others work, you can try just uninstalling Outlook by going to Cortana > Search Control Panel > Uninstall Programs > Outlook
