Windows 10: Office Update Tuesday.

One system with Office 2010 and one with Office 2013 and received multiple Office updates today.

These are not security updates as those are next Tuesday which is MS Update Tuesday.

Doesn't sync correctly with Outlook 2007!

I have the same issue on my 6300, with a minor variation:

Situation as follows:

I am in Australia, the organizer is in the US. Meeting is for Tuesday 3PM US / Wednesday 8AM AUS times. (recourring meeting)

Behaviour:

Office the meeting shows as Wednesday 8AM (correct)

Phone the meeting shows as Tuesday 8AM (Not correct)

When I look at the details in the phone it shows to repeat every Tuesday.

When changing on the phone to repeat on wednesdays it will update my office to show Thursdays at 8am.

Please help?

Can no longer sync to my Motorola Q9m...

Nevermind... I ran windows update and installed all the new patches for Office and now its doing the configuration process stuff again...



Either way, the sync was working fine until last TUESDAY... Tuesdays are usually windows update patch days. It doesnt look like my windows update installed any patches though.

 

Here's what I got:

 

Because I am on Office 2016 all I received was 2 updates for Windows Defender

I expect cumulative update to be released on next Tuesday, June 14th.

 

Same here. You may see Office Security updates also. The 1st Tuesday is for Office Updates and 2nd Tuesday is for all other MS updates.

I have been receiving WD definition updates almost one every day, some time more than one. Ho-hum.
I have Office 2007. Don't expect to receive any related updates for a while.
Did have an Office 2010 update KB2881030 today. Damn if I know why I need that.

I think MS started that a few Months ago to not have everything on the same Tues. I got 1 update for Office 2010 and 12 updates for Office 2013.

Yes my Office 2016 is downloading at this very minute
Version 16.0.6965.2053

All done and installed ok

 

I seldom bother to "check for updates" unless I am expecting a cumulative update. Otherwise, I'll just let Windows Update does its job....... download and install automatically.
To me, not so exciting getting new updates.

But that's just me.

 

Today got 1 update for Office 2010 Standard and 7 for Office 2013 Plus.

My Office 2013 system required a restart.
